The short version
- Your resume data is yours. We never sell it and never use it to train AI models.
- Anonymous drafts live in your browser. Signed-in resumes are stored encrypted at rest.
- Deleting your account really deletes your data — resumes, purchases, checker emails.
- AI features send your text to Google's Gemini API to generate output; it is not used for training.
What we collect
Resume content you enter; your email if you sign in or request a checker review; purchase records (handled by our payment processor — we never see card numbers); and product analytics events (page views, feature usage) if analytics is enabled.
How AI features work
When you use an AI feature, the relevant text (your resume content, a job posting you pasted) is sent to Google's Gemini API (paid tier) to generate the response, under API terms that exclude training on your data. We log token counts for cost control, not content.
Payments
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. We store the purchase reference and expiry of your Pro access — never card details.
Deletion
Account → Delete my data removes your account, resumes, purchase records, and any checker emails tied to your address, immediately and permanently. Local drafts in your own browser remain under your control.
